Primary sources first
Airline allowance values are published only with a direct official-airline source. EU legal updates are linked to official EU institutional material. Third-party coverage may help identify a change, but it is not treated as the final authority for the checker dataset.
Facts, interpretation and warnings
Dimensions, weights and stated entitlements are facts attributed to their source. Practical measuring tips are editorial guidance. Any forward-looking EU information is labelled separately from rules already applied by an airline.
AI assistance disclosure
AI tools may assist with drafting, code, consistency checks and identifying material for review. AI output is not accepted as an airline-rule source. Numeric allowance data and legal claims must be checked against the linked primary material before publication.
The pass/fail result itself is a deterministic comparison of the numbers you enter against the selected stored limits; it is not an AI prediction or personal profile.
Corrections
When a rule changes, the dataset and affected articles should be updated together and assigned a new verification date. Material corrections should not be hidden by leaving an old “verified” label in place.
Commercial independence
Advertising or future affiliate relationships do not change checker results, airline order or published dimensions. Paid placement must be labelled. BagFit EU is not affiliated with the airlines or EU institutions it references.
